What the tools do

Search public Facebook and Instagram ads by advertiser or topic, inspect individual ads, compare hooks and run lengths, and read your brand profiles and saved research. The tools available depend on the connection you use and the permissions you approve.

The Claude directory connection does research in Claude. “Make it in StealAds” opens the app to make the ad. A Claude or ChatGPT custom connector uses the full connection link and can make ads in the chat after you approve the cost.

  • What Facebook ads can StealAds find for Gymshark?
  • Find the longest-running ads in the meal kit category.
  • Find winning ads in skincare.
  • Make me an ad like this one for Northwind Coffee.

Authentication and permissions

StealAds uses OAuth: you sign in on the StealAds authorization page rather than pasting your password or an API key into chat. Read permission allows searching and viewing account data. Write permission allows supported changes such as saving research. Spend permission allows tools that consume credits. Only approve permissions you intend to use.

Your connected AI receives the tool results it requests, which can include brand information, saved research and ad content. Review the StealAds privacy policy at https://stealads.ai/privacy and your AI provider’s privacy settings before connecting.

Library rules

The shared library is search-only. Each request returns a capped sample of matching ads, not a complete inventory. Tracked-rival pages return at most 50 ads per page. When a tool provides a cursor, it can request another capped page.

There is no bulk export, library total, or coverage count. An empty result does not prove an advertiser has no ads. Run length is evidence of longevity, not proof of sales or ad performance. StealAds does not manage your Meta ad account.

Plans and credits

A StealAds account is required. Your StealAds plan and balance determine which actions are available; your Claude or ChatGPT subscription is separate. Connecting does not purchase a plan or add credits.

Making an ad and some research or tracking actions use StealAds credits. Check the action’s cost and your balance before approving it. Manage your plan and credits in the StealAds app.

Disconnect or get help

Disconnect StealAds in your AI tool’s connector or app settings, and revoke its authorization in StealAds Settings to stop further access. Disconnecting does not delete research already returned to a conversation.

If connecting fails, check that a custom connector uses the full connection link ending in /mcp. The Claude directory version connects in one click without a pasted link. Sign in again and check your workspace’s connector policy. Contact [email protected] for help.
