Getting Started

Get from zero to your first analyzed ad in under 15 minutes.

The Onboarding Wizard

When you first sign up, a guided wizard walks you through setup in 4 steps: name your brand, enter your website, confirm what the AI extracted, and pick competitors. StealAds suggests competitors curated for your industry so you can start collecting ads immediately.

After setup, StealAds generates your first creative automatically as a magic moment so you see the full workflow before you even start exploring.

Wizard steps:

  • Brand basics - name, website URL, and industry selection
  • Brand discovery - AI scans your site and extracts identity in about 30 seconds
  • Confirm profile - review extracted colors, voice, audience, and positioning
  • Pick competitors - choose from curated suggestions or search manually

Step 1: Add your brand

Paste your website URL and StealAds will auto-extract your brand identity: colors, typography, voice, audience, and positioning. No questionnaires or 3-week onboarding.

You can review and edit anything the AI extracted. Upload brand assets such as product shots, lifestyle images, and model photos to give the generation engine more to work with.

What gets extracted:

  • Visual identity - primary, secondary, and accent colors, fonts, and layout patterns
  • Brand voice - tone, messaging style, keywords, and dos and don'ts
  • Audience - persona, job titles, goals, and frustrations
  • Product info - name, features, pricing, and positioning

Step 2: Pick competitors

Search for competitors by name or Facebook page URL. StealAds suggests competitors based on your brand's category and audience.

Once you've added competitors, hit Collect Ads to pull their active ads from the Facebook Ad Library. StealAds identifies high-performers based on how long they've been running. Ads that stay active are winning.

Tips for picking competitors:

  • Start with 3 to 5 direct competitors you know are spending on ads
  • Include 1 to 2 aspirational brands outside your niche that run great creative
  • Look for competitors with large ad libraries because more data means better patterns

Step 3: Generate your first creative

Pick any analyzed competitor ad and hit generate. StealAds combines the psychology breakdown with your brand context to produce 3 or more ready-to-run concept variations.

Each generated concept includes a headline, body copy, CTA, and image direction, all with rationale explaining why it works. Concepts are auto-ranked by predicted performance so you know which to test first.

Before you generate, choose:

  • Creativity level - Exact, Close, Inspired, or Loose
  • Placement sizes - 1:1 for feed, 4:5 for mobile feed, 9:16 for stories and reels
  • Brand assets - select product shots or lifestyle images to include
