Steal This Ad

Start from an ad that is already working, and StealAds rebuilds it for your brand: your product, your colors, your voice, sized and ready to launch.

The cockpit

Every Steal this ad button, whether in the Ad Library, a Playbook or The Read, opens the cockpit. The source ad sits beside your version so you can compare them as you go.

StealAds keeps what makes the source work, such as its structure, hook and format, and rewrites everything else from your brand profile: copy, product, colors, fonts and offer. Your product photos are used when you have added them.

Before you make an ad:

  • Pick a proven source - ads that have run longest are the safest bets
  • Check your brand profile - better brand facts and product photos make better ads
  • The credit cost is confirmed before anything starts, including retries

Edit your version

Tell it what to change in plain words, for example "lift the dark backdrop to a lighter studio gray". You can attach a reference image (PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 5 MB) to show what you mean.

Quick edits cover the common asks: brighter background, darker and moodier, remove background, or strip it minimal. Each edit lands on the canvas first. Nothing replaces your ad until you accept it, and the original stays in your versions.

Launch pack

A finished ad becomes a launch pack: the image in each Meta placement size plus headline, primary text and call to action ready to paste into Ads Manager.

In every pack:

  • Feed post 4:5 (1080 x 1350), Square 1:1 (1080 x 1080) and Story 9:16 (1080 x 1920)
  • Make missing sizes - fill in any size the pack does not have yet
  • Download full launch pack - every file in one download
  • A tracked link - your website URL with a utm_content tag, so you can see which ad drove the click
  • An ad name you can paste into Ads Manager to match results back to the ad

Scale a winner

Scale a winner takes one of your finished ads and remakes it in more placement sizes. The copy carries over unchanged; only the frame is remade.

Campaigns

When you want several ads around one goal, start a campaign. Describe what you are running ads for, such as a spring promo or a free trial, pick the brand, product, sizes and how many variants, and StealAds picks matching source ads and makes a set of ads around that goal.

Campaigns draws on the ads from the rivals you track, so tracking a few relevant rivals makes campaigns more specific to your market. Every campaign you run is kept under Campaigns in the sidebar.
